We identify 4 classes of variants: 1) "Secreted Decoy" - secreted peptides lacking the transmembrane domain 2) "Tethered Decoy" - Type1 transmembrane receptors with a disrupted or removed catalytic domain 3) "Catalytic" - intracellular catalytic forms lacking ecto domain 4) "TMCatalytic" - intracellular membrane associated forms lacking the signal peptide, with domain structures similar to the Type2 transmembrane phosphoregulators Nok and Ptpn5.
